Joseph Arrigo was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 21, 1931, and just celebrated his 90th birthday. He was the son of Pasquale Arrigo and Angelina (Cama) Arrigo. He attended City College and graduated from NYU with a degree in accounting. He was the vice president and treasurer of UIS until he retired in 2015 and enjoyed the retirement life with his wife, Arlene (Kaplan) Arrigo at their community in Greenbriar at Whittingham. Joe loved music, was an excellent dancer, and a jack of all trades. He was known by all as the nicest man. He was the mighty oak of our family admired and respected by all who knew him.
