Betty (Shapiro) Dalva passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence in Monroe Village, Monroe Twp. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Dalva was born and raised in the Bronx. She resided in Twin Rivers, East Windsor for 36 years before moving to Monroe Village in 2009. She was a bookkeeper for Users Inc. in Hightstown and also worked in the same capacity at Applegarth Care Center in Monroe Twp. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Knicks, and also enjoyed reading and music. She especially enjoyed singing along with Frank Sinatra.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, David Dalva in 2015.
She is survived by her two children, Sue Dalva of Dayton, and Eddie Dalva of New York City, NY, and many other extended family members.
Her warm smile and caring ways touched the hearts of all that knew her, right up until the very end.
Private funeral arrangements, including burial in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, are under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., Monroe Twp., NJ.
