Following, he joined the Florham Park Police Department in 1968 then went to South Brunswick Police Department and served for over 25 years between 1970 – 1994. During his time as a police officer, his focus was in the Traffic Safety Bureau, dealing with all areas of traffic investigation, enforcement, and supervision. After retirement, Frank went on to become an adjunct Faculty member with the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) out of Jacksonville, Florida and also Northwestern University Traffic Institute (later Northwestern University, Center for Public Safety) out of Evanston, IL.
