Dennis J. Valdner, 72, died on Friday September 25, 2020. Dennis was born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Queens and Staten Island before moving to Monroe Township, NJ, five years ago. Dennis was employed by Excavators Union Local 731 as a laborer foreman for thirty-three years, retiring in 2003. Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War, was a Purple Heart Recipient and received two Bronze Stars for Valor. He was a member of the Purple Heart Association, Michael J Labetti VFW Post and Disabled Veterans of America. Dennis loved his dog Dixie, was a family man and would do anything for his family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie Valdner, his son, John DiBenedetto, his two daughters, Angela DiBenedetto, and Donna McCane and her husband Gregory, his three grandchildren, Kristina McCane, Thomas McCane and Gianna DiBenedetto, his three brothers and many extended family members and friends.
Dennis is preceded in death by one brother.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday October 3, 2020 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
