Obituary of Cory M. Holsten
Cory M. Holsten passed away on Thursday August 8, 2019. He was 25 years old. Cory was born in New Brunswick. He lived in Spotswood and Linwood before moving to Laguna Niguel, CA and has resided in Dayton since 2011. He was a 2012 graduate of South Brunswick Twp. High School and was an Electrician's Assistant for Cougar Power & Electric in Piscataway.
Cory loved going fast, a love inspired by his father at an early age. Whether it was horse racing or dirt racing, he loved being at the track. When he wasn't working hard, Cory loved speniding time in the fields on the family farm with his dad, grandpa, grandma, and girlfriend, Lisa. Cory lived life exactly how he wanted to, and spread positivity to everyone he met. He loved spending time with his girlfriend, Lisa, whether it was going down to the beach or just hanging out at home. He loved his puggle, Daisy and his Honda CBR-600 RR.
He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather, Frederick A. Holsten, Jr. in 2019.
He is survived by his parents, Frederick A. Holsten, III and his wife Megan of Dayton, and Gabrielle Pall-Malter of Laguna Niguel, CA, his step-father, Harlan Malter, his paternal grandmother, Carol (Hansen) Holsten of Monroe Twp., his maternal grandparents, Louis Pall and Gabrielle (Szekely) Pall of East Brunswick, his brother, Matthew Holsten of East Brunswick, his sister, Danielle Malter of Laguna Niguel, CA, his long-time girlfriend, Lisa Adinolfi of Dayton, three step-siblings, Melinda Elsea, Charles Elsea, and Madelyn Elsea, three uncles, Brian Holsten, Barry Holsten, and Richard Pall, his dog, Daisy, and many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday August 14, 2019 and from 10:30am to 11:00am on Thursday August 15, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, NJ.
