| Rev. Henry A. Egierd died on Thursday September 2, 2010 at his home in Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. Father Egierd was a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force retiring in 1976 after 30 years of service. He is a reciepient of the Bronze Star. He attended Pope John XXIII Seminary in Weston, MA from 1976-1980. Father Egierd was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Trenton by Bishop John C. Reiss on May 31, 1980 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Father served as a parochial vicar in the following parishes in the Diocese of Metuchen: 1980-82 in Immaculate Conception, Somerville; 1982-84 in St. Paul the Apostle, Highland Park; 1984-85 in Holy Spirit, Perth Amboy; 1985-87 in Our Lady of Lourdes, Milltown; 1987-92 in St. John the Evangelist in Lambertville. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Reception of the body will be 2:00pm on Tuesday September 7, 2010 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. Mass of commemoration will be 7:00pm on Tuesday evening. A mass of Christian burial will be 11:00am on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at the church followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Rev. Egierd’s body will lie in state from 2-4pm and 7-9pm in the Sanctuary of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church on Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the M. | John E. Solook died on Thursday September 2, 2010 at his home in Jamesburg. He is survived by his grandson Mark A. Solook of Alvin, TX, and his great granddaughter, Blake A. Solook of Alvin TX. A funeral service will be 10:00am on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home. |
| Michael ‘Michele’ Pagano died on Saturday September 4, 2010 at Centra-State Medical Center in Freehold. He was 76 years old. Mr. Pagano was born in Palo del Colle, Bari, Italy, came to the US in 1961 and settled in Ridgewood. He later lived in Brooklyn before moving to Sarasota, FL in 2002 and finally to Monroe Twp. in 2009. He was a mechanic before becoming a milkman for Union Local 584 in Queens and worked for Silver Crest Farms. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Clara (Torchiano) Pagano of Monroe Twp., one son, John M. Pagano of Staten Island, and one daughter, Madeline Pagano of Wharton, NJ. Funeral services will begin on at 8:45am on Thursday September 9, 2010 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732- 521-0555. A funeral ligurgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church followed by Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Monroe Twp. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home. |
