The DeMarco family began serving the Monroe Township and Middlesex County areas in 1979, when Michael DeMarco, with the help of his son, David, built the first funeral home in Monroe Township. David received his BA in American Literature from West Virginia University in 1973 and then his funeral service education from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City in 1974. After serving his internship at Leon J. Gerity Funeral Home in Woodbridge, and working there for 10 years, he established the funeral home in Monroe Township with the help of his wife Paula. His son, Thomas, received his BS in accounting from the University of Delaware in 2003, and his funeral service education from Mercer County Community College in 2004. Thomas has since received his license and joined his father.  He is the second generation of funeral service providers in the DeMarco family. The M. David DeMarco Funeral Home is proud to have celebrated it's 30th anniversary of service to Monroe Township and the surrounding areas in 2009, and pledges to continue to help all families in the area with caring and compassionate service for many years to come.
